Hit and Run! Drive-by punditry! ... 8/1/2016

No.  Next question?: Did Trump go too far?  What do Muslim's want here?  They want to come here and bring their problems - i.e. their sharia law - here.  Here's what the MSM is not telling you about this guy.

So Sorry, Mr. Kahn.  We already have a Constitution and it's the best the world has ever seen.  Take your sharia and stick it.

Update!: Tricked?
So, why would Khizr Khan choose to insert himself into politics and demean his son’s sacrifice by lying at a political convention on national television?
The answer is simple: He allowed himself to be tricked into it. And the Clinton campaign was all too eager to take advantage of him and his family and Capt. Khan and use them for their own political partisan purposes.
This sounds just like Democrats.  Just remember: All Democrats are anarchists, corpses, crooks, deviants, drunks, liars, materialists, pagans, parasites, perverts, and thieves.

Looks like BrunHillary can't get any one to come out unless Mr. Bill shows up along with her:

Hardly anyone showed up on her "Bus Tour" when it was just her and the KainesterDoesn't sound like enthusiasm to me.

This is the world's smallest violin playing "My Heart Bleeds for You!"  Texas shale oil has fought Saudi Arabia to a standstill.
This agility has changed the nature of the oil cycle. It means that OPEC faces an unprecedented headwind from mid-cost producers. [American Shale Oil producers]  Anadarko and Hess say they will wait for $60 before investing heavily, but they are already preparing the ground.
The losers are high-cost projects elsewhere: off the coast of Nigeria and Angola, in the Arctic, or the oil sands of Canada and Venezuela's Orinoco basin.  Roughly 4m to 5m barrels a day of future supply has been shelved around the world.
This sets the stage for an oil shortage and a price spike later this decade. Whether OPEC can survive that long is an open question. Most of the cartel need prices of $100 to fund their regimes.
Venezuela is already in the grip of hyperinflation and food riots. Nigeria's currency peg was smashed last month, and the naira has fallen 60pc. Angola has turned to the International Monetary Fund, Azerbaijan to the World Bank.
Saudi Arabia has deeper pockets but its net foreign reserves have fallen from $737bn to $562bn, even though it is borrowing money abroad to slow the loss. It burned through another $11bn last month.
Riyadh is trying to curb the country's culture of subsidy and entitlement, but was forced to sack a minister and backtrack after a 500pc rise in water prices set off an outcry. It is the famous social contract from cradle-to-grave that keeps the House of Saud in power.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

I hate being censored!!

I made a comment at a PJMedia post.  According to Disqus, it is still pending moderation, which obviously means it will not see the light of day there.

Ha!

I can post it here.

I'm in a thread with some liberal that goes by the handle BernieLee2004.

The discussion is about an article by a Mr. Walter Hudson titled 3 Ways to Understand the Racist Alt-Right

The article is a piece of trash and this BernieLee2004 is a first class jerk.

My participation starts here:

BernieLee2004: Friend, one, I'm straight. Two, a standing free enterprise on Main Street is not a church. If a baker who sells wedding cakes from his store wants to not bake for gay people's weddings, he needs to give up selling wedding cakes.

BiggBear (Me): "...give up selling wedding cakes." Why? You harp about liberty. Liberty is the right to choose that which is good for me. If I choose not to serve you in my business, I have liberty to do so. If I CANNOT choose to do so, due to the intervention of the sword of Government, then my inalienable right to liberty is being trampled by the sword of Government. If that happens with no pushback, then the Constitution is dead. The net result is NO LIBERTY. Be careful what you wish for, pal. You just might get it in the posterior long and hard.

When you open a business, you make a de facto choice to follow free commerce law.

One doesn't have the liberty to yell fire in a movie theater unless there is one. One doesn't have the liberty to ignore a red light.

Quit being so obtuse. You and you bigotry cannot hide behind religion.

If anyone is being OBTUSE, it's you. How does yelling fire equate with a free decision to not serve a customer on whatever basis you choose? How does breaking a traffic law equate to operating a business as you so choose. Using your logic, I can come into your store and demand you sell me something you don't have and hold you liable for not having it. That's asinine. How? You choose what you do. In the same fashion you can choose who you do it for. That is liberty.

Funny you should bring religion into this:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are CREATED equal, that they are endowed by their CREATOR with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of Happiness.THAT TO SECURE THESE (CREATOR GIVEN) RIGHTS, Governments are instituted among Men,..."

You, sir, obviously wish to use government to oppose these rights, thereby opposing the CREATOR, making yourself greater than him and foisting your desire to control upon all of those who oppose YOU!

Don't agree? Well, it's only logical that if you oppose true liberty for men, you also oppose the one who gave that liberty to men. One day you will have to stand before that CREATOR and you will have to account for your actions, sir. Like it or not.
Have a nice life, sir. Such as it is.
BernieLee2004: You and your bigotry lost this to our gay neighbors and the Constitution.
**************

At this point  I replied but my reply is stuck in limbo by PJMedia.

Here it is:

BiggBear: Lost what? I haven't lost anything. If anything America has lost. But, it can be fixed.
The 10th amendment says: "The powers NOT delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
“The Tenth Amendment was intended to confirm the understanding of
the people at the time the Constitution was adopted, that powers not
granted to the United States were reserved to the States or to the
people. It added nothing to the instrument as originally ratified.” – United States v. Sprague, 282 U.S. 716, 733 (1931).
There is no mention at all in the Constitution concerning marriage, business transactions between individuals, or sexual preference. Therefore, the Constitution has lost because, somehow, the current powers-that-be have decreed the following:
1) There is now a right to be an open deviant.
2) The American people are forced by Federal fiat - and gun point - to purchase things they do not wish to purchase.
3) Businesses are being forced by Federal fiat - and gun point - to do business with those they would prefer not to do business with.
4) States are being forced to recognize the imbecilic notion of "gay" marriage.
The Constitution has been neutered by the current group of Nazi Statist/leftists that are in power, such as yourself. Mrs. Rodham-Clinton (How much you wanna bet if she gets elected she drops the Clinton?) cares only about more money and power for herself.  She has no love for the USA. That much is very evident. Well, I do, sir, and I will only vote for someone who does likewise. That, sir, is Mr. Trump.
As for the likes of you, we fought a war against Nazi's once. I'm not against doing it again.
 **************

Wow.

So, I'm the bigot when BernieLee2004 wants to exercise Governmental control over anyone who does not agree with him.

As I said, WHAT A JERK!

Now, I have no clue why my comment would require moderation since I didn't cuss and stated only facts. But, since I have my own outlet PJMedia can go to wherever.

NFL goes all left wing again.

As I have said before, the NFL is now run by the Feminist/LGBT/Statist cabal that wants all things Christian out of it.  The entire NFL is against Christianity.  Christians are to be ridiculed, made fun of, ostracized, and otherwise blackballed (as in the case of Timothy Richard Tebow).  They are not welcome in the NFL except as a funding source, via ticket and merchandise sales.

Well, here's more proof: NFL sides with 'gay' agenda over Christians

This is all so very sick.  Why do we put up with this?

I don't.  I have quit watching the NFL at all and do not buy their merchandise.

But, hey! I guess y'all gotta have your Bread and Circuses!

Lions vs. Christians in the Colosseum soon, yes?!

Ted Cruz: Political Outsider... Are you sure??

There is an article about how much of an INSIDER Ted Cruz actually is.  There was an interesting comment to this article.

Here’s a little inside baseball from someone who actually knows the truth: the GOPe dislikes Cruz NOT because he’s an outsider, but because he’s an INSIDER who decided the best way to advance himself was to bite the hand that fed him. Let’s just say I am very close to someone in the GOPe machine and I’ll leave it at that.
When Ted worked for Bush, he was angling for a bigger position than he got. He actually wanted to be the Attorney General.
He thought he had more pull than he actually did, more juice because of some of his Texas connections. His marriage to Heidi was supposed to solidify his position because she was actually held in higher regard than Ted within the Texas/GOPe sphere. He was seen by the insiders as over ambitious, an opinion that was only ENFORCED by his reach to be named AG.
So Ted decided since he knew the ins and outs of the GOPe (insofar as the GOP and Bushes were one and the same), and since he couldn’t advance any further within that sphere, that he would run against them.
He ran for Senate against a GOPe favorite and won. He hoped this would show the GOPe that he was a serious contender and that they would welcome him back into the fold. It backfired, mostly because of Ted’s outsider rhetoric.
Now Ted chose to run for POTUS, which on its surface was a slap in the face to Jeb Bush and the GOPe. In truth, it was an olive branch by Ted to the GOPe.
Why? Because he was there to split the conservative vote in order to help Jeb win. He was never supposed to be in this position, but if it got down to him and Jeb, the fact that Ted isn’t natural born was going to come out, forcing him to drop out, leaving Jeb and his millions in donor money as the last man standing.
Why do you think Jeb always spoke about winning without the base and losing the primaries to win the nomination? It all makes sense now, doesn’t it?
Trump was the wildcard they didn’t expect. Ted was sent to cozy up to him with a non-aggression pact, but Trump was no dummy. He kept the Canadian Ted thing in his back pocket to use when needed.
I could go on but bottom line, the GOPe is warming to Ted because he’s is not actually an enemy, but a prodigal son who tried to earn his way back into the fold by helping Bush.

So. all of you who think that Ted Cruz is an outsider that the GOP elite do not like,  think about this:
Cruz was never “an outsider“.  The intellectually honest political observer would have to detach themselves from all reasonable cognition to avoid accepting Ted Cruz:
  • Was part of George W. Bush’s administration.
  • Was part of George W Bush’s Florida recount team.
  • Was introduced to his wife Heidi (Condelezza Rice staffer) while working for Bush.
  • Has hired the entire operational arm of the Jeb Bush campaign team: Paul Dickerson of Houston, TX, Boyden Gray of Washington, DC, Charles Foster of Houston, TX, Reginald J. Brown of Washington, DC, Paula and Jim Henry of Midland, TX, and Nancy and Randy Best of Dallas, TX. Along with Neil Bush.

And now Cruz is the Mormon Saviour of the country.  I thought we had already gotten beyond light-bringers and unicorns with BHO?

The simple fact of the matter is this:  Should Mr. Ted Cruz happen to get enough delegates to win the nomination, then it will be contested at the convention on the grounds of his Constitutional eligibility.  He WILL be declared ineligible and JEB! Bush will get the nomination and that will be that.  Don't believe me?  See above... Has hired the entire operational arm of the Jeb Bush campaign team:  They will see to it their boss - JEB! Bush will get that nomination unless Mr. Trump gets the delegates he needs up front.  Even then, they will either change the rules or begin work to see to it that Mrs. Clinton will then be elected in the general election.  All because they do not want to lose THEIR POWER!!  That is the most important thing to them.   NOT AMERICA!   THEIR POWER!!

Where's Mr. Walker?

Has anyone noticed that Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin is being real quiet right now? I think there's a reason for that. I think Mr. Walker will be Mr.Trump's pick for VP running mate.

Oh, sure.  There are those who will ridicule this and say it's impossible.  Especially after some of the things said in this campaign.  But, I think it will be Mr. Walker.   Mr. Trump knows that there is a constituency that has to be considered.  I am speaking of the conservatives, of course.  You know them.  That "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" that has been around for a while.  They are all pissed off right now that their guys aren't in the hunt.  Mr. Walker is a hero for them.  Mr. Trump choosing Mr. Walker as his running mate would be a brilliant move.

I think Mr. Trump is smart enough to go in this direction and I also would not be surprised to find out that this is something that was decided a long time ago.

We'll see if I'm right.
